Our expert Social Impact Team works with a whole range of regional stakeholders, to create, launch and manage innovative solutions to environmental problems.
We manage ‘top down’ requests from our customers for environmental project volunteers to support our contracts, and ‘bottom up’ grassroots requests from our people to support initiatives in their local community. We are proud to support:
Durham Wildlife Trust
Volunteering for the Durham Wildlife Trust, where members of our Stockton Team helped create pathways through a local conservation area to protect local wildlife
National Highways Cannock Chase
A week long initiative in partnership with our client National Highways at Cannock Chase, helping dismantle a bridge; helping with vegetation clearance and helping establish new walkways and fencing within a heavily utilised local beauty spot.
Multiple Intelligence Hub
Creating raised flower beds at the Multiple Intelligence Hub, using redundant plant tyres for an outdoor Forest School, with our customer Kier Highways for young people with neuro-diverse needs
